The SW1 is our universal chassis. Not only because of the adjustable wheelbase it will fit classic cars to modern GT1 cars. Due to the various adjustments possible with this chassis it can be adapted to fit almost any body shell. Nevertheless the SW1 is not dificult to use and is suitable for beginners, because straight out of the box it has calm and balanced handling.
This has been achieved with unique design features such as the lowered motor (compared to similar chassis) and the thick sturdy baseplate. The beginner can start initial tuning of the chassis and develop it step by step. And: he or she doesn´t have to buy a new chassis to go racing! On the other hand professionals can add further kits from the accessories line, to help facilitate the tuning of the SW1 for that racers edge.
The whole chassis is manufactured out of high-grade steel (1/3 higher tensile strength at the same weight as normal steel) , which greatly assists it's stablility and also gives the chassis the best possible corrosion resistance.
