SW1 Classic - 1/24 Side-/Anglewinder racing chassis
The SW1 Classic was developed for small classic touring cars and sportscars. With the adjustments possible it can be made to fit almost any body shell. We redesigned the base plate. The small rear axle holder makes building even some of the special cars easy.
The chassis can be used with the Mabuchi Fox only. Because we didn´t want to put the motor on top of the chassis and the Fox motor helps keep it as low as possible. That´s not possible with the bigger "Bühler"-type motor. Anyway you can do nice interiors with the smaller Fox motor fitted.
Primarily designed as a racing chassis the SW1 Classic is not difficult and can easily be used by beginners - because of it´s base configuration the SW1 is a easy to drive and well balanced slot car.
The whole chassis is made in stainless steel, not only to get a higher stability (1/3 higher tensile strength at the same weight as normal steel) but also for out of the ordinary good looks and the highest corrosion protection.
SW1 Classic Side- / Anglewinder chassis - special features:
-Front suspension for better road hold.
Adjustable wheelbase, axle heights front and rear, guide, body width and motor position.
Chassis in stainless steel. Stainless steel has a higher tensile strength than steel and a nice finish.
All screws can be reach from the top to ease servicing and adjustments.
Screw size M 2,5 for a stable connection of chassis parts.
Extra thick base plate not only to bring the weight were it belongs - as low as possible, but also for a strong motor and axle mounting.
The base plate is cut out in the engine area, to lower the motor and the centre of gravity.
A wide range of adjustments can be done to almost every type of body. From the classic touring cars to sportscars.
A common front end for all our chassis mean easily available spare parts.
