The KJ1 is our chassis for people who like in line motor setups, but we were not satisfied with just a "normal" constructed chassis. Not seen on inliner chassis before, our KJ1 has a front suspension and a height adjustable rear axle.
But we didnīt stop there! Because of well thought-out construction the rear end (motor & rear axle) can not only be adjusted in height, but also angled downward. Furthermore the chassis has a thick base plate which has a cut out engine area. All these items lead to a very low center of gravity for a inline chassis and coupled with the front suspension makes for an easy handling slot car.
The KJ1 is without doubt serious competition for every angle- / sidewinder scale racing chassis! Compared with our own SW1 chassis we found no significant difference in lap times.
As we look to explore new ways of chassis construction with our KJ1, itīs not - as with other inliner chassis - suited just to motorize small cars. Itīs objectives are prototypes, sport cars and GTīs.
